Procedures of Teaching

Before we start the class, we should greet the student to cheer them up or make them ready. Then, we give them a motivation. The motivation can be a video that related to the topic, or the direct question that related to the topic. For example, when I teached about Judiciary Branch I use the picture of the Supreme Court and ask the students question about Judiciary as my motivation to them. After the motivation, I start to explain the topic. Then, I divided the class to 5 groups and give them a problem to solved. After that we will discuss the problem and give the evaluation to each groups. All of the procedure of teaching should follow the Daily Lesson Log.

Time Management and Organizing Activities

In BCNHS we have one hour to each subject learning, also for the Philippines Constitutions subject. The teacher should manage the time so all of the learning procedures in DLL can be done. Therefore, The teacher always give the time for the students activities and straight to it. Before the teacher divide the class to several groups, the teacher should tell the procedure first, it will make less of time wasted by the students. So, they can make a team-working after they have a group.

Problem Solving

The teacher will give them the problem to discuss with their groups, and to solve it. But, the teacher should be the facilitator and help the student to solve it. The teacher will lead them to think critically about the suggestion or answer for the problem. But the pure inovation should come from the students itself and related to the real conditions.

Classroom Management 

To manage the class, maybe some people think that we must have a loud voice. But for me, even if I have a smooth voice, I can handle the class. Because I can give them something that they don't know. When the class start noisy, I will stay in front of them and they realised that they should silent. Because they are mature enough to understand that. I also always remind them about time when they did their task, so there was no late or can not finish the task.
